Sometimes it seems like I can get so used to the Beatles that I almost start to take them for granted and just think " Oh yeah, those guys. ". I mean, they made so many incredibly catchy and melodic songs, sometimes I think you forget if you don't kind of take a step back and pretend you hate then and think "The Beatles Suck!" and then it all becomes so clear. They don't suck at all.
The other day my friend and composer Jesse Hopkins indicated to me that I should make music for video games because I could do it quickly and many of the makers of such games don't really even care that much about it. I did make the music fr a video game called "Nuts About Nuts" and that lady cared and made me make changes, but I guess it wasn't too bad. I am always hesitant to make music to meet any other person's "criteria", but I actually got paid to it and I bought Christmas presents with the money.
Sometimes I consider charging like two dollars for an album download but then I think no one would bother downloading anything, and I'd rather people hear stuff than not at all.

New Directions

The new thing I'm working on is bifurcated. I have been wanting to make something with minimal MIDI and I decided to make it a little louder and more rocky than usual. It is kind of an experiment because I usually aim for a softer side. Come see the harder side of me. Maybe its not hard at all - my wife will probably say it sounds poppy. Also I think I am making another Saccharine Sea record.

Ducks Ahoy

I listened to allot of New Order and made a dance record. I hope you like it.
I have been using Garageband allot, writing in midi. Hoever I decided to incluse live drums too, in general I prefer live instruments, but its nice also to have computer music.

I am currently working on something, maybe a Saccharine record which would be instrumental, or maybe I will include vocals, maybe improvised, free vocals. I write lyrics sometimes in the cafeteria but they aren't always so great when I get home.
